Laugarvatn

The campsite at Laugarvatn is spacious and sheltered, ideally located along the Golden Circle with fantastic views. Access to showers is included! The site is perfectly suited for day trips to visit many interesting places such as Laugarvatnshellir, Þingvellir, Geysir, Gullfoss, Faxi, and Kerið. A wide range of services and activities are available in Laugarvatn and the surrounding area, including golf, spa, swimming, horseback riding, boating, and fishing in lakes and rivers. There’s also a great new restaurant that has just opened directly across from Vinastræti Restaurant. All guests staying at the campsite receive a 20% discount on food at Vinastræti.

We are working on making the Laugarvatn campsite even more enjoyable. This summer, a new playground will be installed, the restroom facilities will be updated, a communal barbecue area will be added, and more exciting improvements are on the way.
