Þórshöfn

Fisheries have long since been the primary industry in terms of work and development of the village, making it quite interesting to take a walk down to the harbor and watch the life of a typical fishing village.

The sports hall in Þórshöfn offers a good indoor swimming pool, hot tubs and a gym. The hall also hosts a tourist information center and a laundromat.

Interesting places nearby are for example Langanes, Bakkafjörður and Rauðanes.
